At the meeting organized by the Legal Committee of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce, the managing partner of the bureau Artem Sirota reported on the issues related to the conclusion of contracts with Russian companies. Artem highlighted three clauses that should be included in contracts with Russian counterparties, namely:

• dispute resolution clause,
• sanctions clause and
• force majeure clause.

At the business breakfast organized by the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce, the managing partner of the bureau Artem Sirota provided an overview of issues related to sanctions as a risk factor for directors of Russian companies. Artem explained what liability in connection with sanctions is provided for by the legislation currently in force, and what legislative changes are proposed, in particular, to establish liability for preforming foreign sanctions in Russia.

Artem also highlighted possible consequences for the company and its director in case of refusal to participate in public procurement procedures and cooperate with the Russian companies due to foreign sanctions.
